This past weekend, the southeast chapter of the ICA&CA held a reception at Grady Hospital's Goddard Chapel. The Chapel was originally designed by Philip Trammel Shutze in 1958, a team of local architects, including Jonathan LaCrosse, Steven Markey, and Clay Ulmer, and builders donated their time and efforts to revitalize the chapel. You can find an article published in the Atlanta Journal and Constitution here.
Young ICA Vice President Colleen O'Keeffe was present for the ICA&CA unveiling.

CanStruction Kickoff 2009
Have you ever played with your food? If so, we need you! For the third year running, the Young ICA+CA will participate in CanStruction- an international design competition to rise food stores for the needy while stimulating creative competition between the building disciplines.
Friends and members are meeting at Manuel's Tavern for a Brainstorming Meeting and Happy Hour to kickoff this year's competition. Join us at 7pm Thursday, September 10th, 2009 to toss around food puns and structural challenges over light appetizers.
Manuel's Tavern is located at 602 North Highland Ave. Atlanta, GA 30307. We hope to see you there!
